It is when we share what we have that we are truly able to say that we have given thanks for our blessings. Thanksgiving is a time to recognize all of the good things we have in our life - no matter how small. It is also a time to reflect on how fortunate we have been and to remember those who are not.
To help those less fortunate, our parish will be holding its annual food drive to help provide families in need with a special meal for the holiday. Please bring non-perishable food items to the rectory. We will also have a collection bin at the entrance of the church during all masses. While all items are welcome, please remember that this collection is to help provide a Thanksgiving dinner. It would be thoughtful to contribute items appropriate to the holiday.
