On Sunday March 18 our parish extended hands in prayer over the candidates for this year's confirmation ceremony. Candidates, along with their families, were called by name and presented to the congregation. The candidates ask for our pairsh community's prayers, support, and example of discipleship that they may be ready to live more deeply in the life of the Holy Spirit which they entered at baptism. We invite all parishioners to continue to pray for the candidates during their journey to the sacrament using the blassing prayer from the presentation mass:

"Father of love and pwer, it is your will to establish everything in Christ and to draw us into his all-embracing love. Guide these candidates as they continue their preparation for confirmation. Strengthen them in their baptismal promises, build them into the kingdom of your Son, and seal them with the Spirit of your love. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen."

The candidates will complete their Christian Initiation at the Confirmation Mass on Thursday May 31 at 5:00 pm. All parishioenrs are invited to this sacramental celebration.
