We here at the parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus believe that there is a duty given to those who are baptized, to pass on from one generation to the next, the faith that has come down to us from the apostles and the way of life to which that faith calls us.

In the course of faith formation, the Church's beliefs, values, and traditions are communicated. We accomplish this through worship and service in the parish community.

We hope to convey to all who pass through our doors, the teachings of Jesus Christ as found in Sacred Scripture and the teachings of the Church. We achieve this through:

• Mass participation on Sundays and all Holy Days of Obligation.

• Family life based in prayer.

• Faith Formation at all levels of life; from birth to natural death.

• Active participation in the life of the parish including communal celebration of the sacraments.
